Products
Our Macadamia nuts are channeled to 2 market segments, the DIS (Dry In Shell), which is essentially our Beaumont (695) complement of nuts. These are dried down to less than 2% kernel moisture content, sized, and bagged. These are sold internationally in 25-ton container loads.
Our Kernel market is made up of our Integrifolia and hybrid nuts, varieties which include 816, 788, 842, 791, 344, 333, 849, 814, 772, 741, A4s and A16s.
Mattison Farms has always been synonymous with high quality crack outs and excellent quality. We were the first farming enterprise in the world to achieve a 50% crack out.
Our average Total sound kernel recovery ranges from 32% for late season 695s to 38% early season 695s. Our Integrifolia varieties range from 36% to 50%, most of which sit comfortably in the 42 to 46% range.
